I'm the very happy owner of a red 2012 335i xdrive. The only problem I have is that the salesman who sold me the car told me we couldn't order the car with sport trim. Now I want to put on a M style front bumper with accommodations for parking sensors and fog lights and sport seats. Can anybody lead me to the best source of the bumper and has anyone had any experience with a upholstery shop customizing the front seats to bigger bolsters like sport seats?

Well, if your aim's to snug you in so ya don't move, BMW sport seats will prove a little loose.

One word to live by: RECARO - upon a time, BMW sport package included those seats - but not today

Any particular reason for that? I don't know what the labor rates are in your area, but it may be cheaper to just buy sports seats from a crashed vehicle.

My car is a Dinan 3 and I hate to think of spending another multi thousand for seats. We live in central Washington and I doubt that there's a wrecking yard with a BMW anywhere within 150 miles. We're originally from California and when we were in Montery/Carmel for a bicycle event we were driving to Laguna Seca and we counted 15 M3s just from Carmel to the turnoff to Laguna Seca. It ain't like that up here Bunky.
