Latest pricing guide

The 2014 pricing guide (which is also posted on the main X3 page here) went through quite a few version changes/corrections. 2015 guide shows things like roof rail, wood trim as standard now, so was just curious (unless it really is standard now).

Really? You can ask google that - literally. It means *Life Cycle Impulse* - that's what they call mid generation updates.

Quick question...about to pre-order...what's the Lights Package about? Is it like the 2014 new X5...3 different color choices/combination under trim, footwell, door handles etc? Thanks! Hope to get a reply soon!

Lightening package has 2 things, 1. The xenon lights i.e. white lights see v/s yellow. 2. Adpative lights (if you go to configure current 2014 X3, you will see what it is).

May I know how are you able to build and pre-order 2015 model? It isnt updated on the website yet and I dont think dealers are taking orders yet.

Dealers already started to taking pre-order for April production. I think you misunderstood me...what I mean is the Lights Package (not the Lighting Package which include LED headlights for the 2015s)...the Lights Packages are suppose to look like an Enhanced ambience lighting where more interior lights are added....however, I just want to see others who have pre-ordered and ask about dealers, whether 2015 X3 Interior Lights Package will be designed as the new X5 interior lighting system where you see interior lights under trim and footwell.........

Can anyone who has pre-ordered 2015 X3, also verify whether Deep Sea Blue exterior is being postponed to May production? Thanks!

I downloaded copies of the pricing and configuration sheets a couple weeks ago. Reviewing them intently and noticed they do not seem complete.

E.G., looking at the ZMM (M Sport) package - what is actually included in the "337 M Sport Pack"?

Is it the items after "337" on the list - or literally just 2TB, 2TE, 2V1, 2VG, 337, 3D7, 3MC, 481, 4FW, 710, 715, 760, 775, and 840?

What is in the "715 Aerodynamic Kit"?

Are these items (and other details) explained in another document somewhere?

Why are USB and Bluetooth connectivity not a standard peripheral included?

When is it expected that BMW will put the details for the 2015 X3 on the website including the diesel model? Turn on the "build it yourself" tab

Also - will the Satellite Radio only be available in the Premium Package?

Also - the Panoramic Moonroof "402" - can it be ordered separate?

Also - AWD is listed under sDrive28i as standard - STD. This cannot be correct. I makes me wonder what else is wrong on the order and pricelist documents?

Pre-order people, please share

People who were able to pre-order 2015 model, can anyone please confirm if Wood Trim and RoofRail are standard now? (It was not standard in 2014 model). Thanks.

Just ordered an x28d, so I'll try to answer some of the questions above.

Didn't order the top-down camera (not an option I'd care about at pretty much any price), so I'm not sure on the price increase there.

Roof rails, the M steering wheel, and wood/chrome trim are all standard now (you net more value in options than the price increase in the base model actually, which is nice).

In terms of wheels, I'm not sure you even have options on the wheels at this point based on my next comment...

Colors and interior trims and combinations thereof are very limited right now. Blue is definitely unavailable for now; it sounded like someone thought it would be available in May but my dealer didn't mention this. I wanted blue/saddle and after running through lots of combinations that just don't exist yet I ended up with alpine white/saddle as a result.

Not sure about the blind spot monitor. Like the top-down camera, I didn't really care about this.

My dealer said they expected to get the car in late April, but no hard and fast dates yet. I'd be curious if anyone has gotten more precision.

Are these standard on the sDrive28i or the Xdrive28d?

Hi, Thank you for updating us. Few doubts -

1. How were you able to see all the options and configure it? The bmwusa site is not updated yet. I guess the dealer had special system where you can see it before the general public. But please share some details.

2. What kind of deal did you get? Does BMW have any option and drive credit for 2015 X3?

3. Do you know what color is the standard kidney grill (without xLine package)? The picture on bmw.com/X3 by default shows black, so just want to know if you were able to check that.

Thanks again.

1. You can't build one online yet, but basically all you need to know is there is a $600 increase in base price and the diesel is $1500 on top of that; most everything else you want is priced the same as 2014. I actually went in about two weeks ago looking at 2014 X3s and the dealer let me know that he thought he'd be able to order me a 2015 instead.

If you look at the start of the thread all the pricing in those sheets are what dealers have, so they are able to build one for you and place a preorder with Spartanburg, albeit with limited options.

2. There are basically no incentives yet for 2015 - my dealer literally pulled up his list of incentives to prove it to me. What I saw was that all deals are on 2014 X3s as they're looking to clear house on those. I think you could get $3000 off MSRP easily with an X3 right now (their incentive is $2000, but Truecar will do better for you), but between new options being added as standard, all the other improvements, and the better resale (should I not run this thing into the ground) on the '15 vs. the '14, I went with '15. I got ~$750 off after quite a bit of shopping and working with the dealer. I would guess most places will not give you much more than this at this point. If you do get more of a deal, let me know.

3. No clue on standard grille. I wasn't overly concerned about exterior looks to be honest.

Really not sure about the rear-wheel drive version. I'm in New England so I never looked at it.

I placed my order last week for a 2015 x3 and got $2995 off of MSRP. So it's out there.

Nice work! Maybe I just suck at negotiating, or maybe it's a supply/demand thing in the northeast, or maybe both.

What was the story on your delivery date? I was told late April but not much more. Are you able to track your order yet? I haven't been able to.

I have not been given a production number yet. Apparently the dealer has not gotten an allocation yet. I guess mine is a low volume dealer. Maybe this attributes to a good price. From a consumer standpoint the allocation thing is very frustrating.

Thats true, it looks like there is $600 price increase, which is surprising as the official press release of BMW at below link says same price as 2014.

Can anyone else please confirm what price you got?

It is difficult to believe that they would just throw in wood trim and rails for the same base price. And on 35i the pricing guide shows an increase of $200 which kind of makes sense considering that that the wood trim has been standard on that one.
