It would be kind of absurd to not have hands-free on an X3 when you get this standard on a VW Golf, right?

I am 99% sure it is hands free bluetooth but bluetooth audio streaming is not included unless you get enhanced bluetooth. BMWUSA.com is notoriously wrong.

I just had this exact conversation today with my SA. Ordering X3 35i M Sport fairly loaded. Bluetooth audio (A2DP) streaming is standard. The enhanced USB and Bluetooth Plus Smartphone Integration Option (6NS) allows you to access some apps from your phone on your iDrive such as Facebook and Twitter, Mog, Pandora, etc. The phone has to be connected to the USB for this to work. Not sure what enhanced bluetooth portion of the title means. Perhaps it helps with the office functions such as text messages, etc. I didn't ask this extra question, but bluetooth audio streaming is standard.

As someone above said, I ordered it because i didn't want to miss out on a future potential capability. I do use the enhanced USB functionality on trips when I want to charge my phone and use the Pandora/Mog app while driving and don't need to check emails, etc.

Same thing can be said about an Alarm this is standard on a Golf but is a $400 option on a 3 series...

According to this, invoice price on the 35i is $41,490:
http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com...3/2015/prices/

If one could buy a 2015 model at invoice price (plus any options at invoice price), would that be considered an OK deal, or are people getting them below invoice price?

Any idea if the chrome grill is only part of the 'x-line'? When performing a 'build' on the website, the grill finish does not seem to change....yet this link shows two differing looks...

Looks like the only way to get sport seats is via the M sport package. Does anyone know if this is really true?

Also, I fell in love with my X3's heated steering wheel. If I order the M sport package, do I lose the heated steering wheel?

Saw this at the auto show. The gauges r now white. Is that different from 2013 models ? Also the complete bottom of the gauges is a LCD display.

I believe the speedo display is entirely LCD display along with the bottom where some informations such as temp and fuel levels are displayed.

I received my 2015 X3 last week. The gauges are not LCD. Only the bottom portion is. The demo at the car shows is misleading.

Dross, what was your dealer's story about the delay on the car? I'm still waiting with radio silence on the 28d.

Did your BMW come with the soft-close automatic doors?

The EPA has not rated the Xdrive 28d yet, once that happens they will be shipped. I'm also wondering what this is going to be rated at, I'm hoping for it to be in the high 30's, would love to see it in the low 40s..

It's rated: 27/34/30 combined. You're right though; it seems like that was the holdup, as my dealer says the 28d is supposed to come in today.

34 on the highway isn't all that impressive! I was hoping for higher MPG... However, once that engine loosens up some, I can see it getting high 30's on the highway.

Well, it's 25% less gas (and fill-ups), which, considering that diesel prices and gas prices are roughly identical where I am, sounds pretty good to me. However, I am also surprised it didn't come to 30/36ish, which would have been roughly the same % improvement from the 328i to the 328d. I'm wondering if they tweaked the transmission to get better performance and sacrificed some fuel economy in the process (in particular the 0-60 numbers on the engine look markedly better than they did when this same engine was in Europe - 7.8 vs. 8.5ish).

What is MSRP? Why no premium package?

Did they give you a pricing list for this vehicle? MSRP, invoice, Dealer add ons total:: DMV, training and MACO fees and any other fees?

What I find interesting is the EPA figures are not posted to the BMW website, I would have figured that once they were out, BMW would have posted them..

Here in Phoenix, the price difference is roughly 10 cent a gallon. Diesel being more who know the reason, and why isn't it offered as a sDrive??
