Stock 0-60 times F01 2013 750i N63tu Engine

Ran stock times on my car yesterday.

8 total runs 0-60, 4 with pedal box and 4 without. No Tune.

Best I got was 4.7 sec with and without pedal box. BMW claims 4.6 stock, so I was right there. If you remember I got 4.3 with my old BMS stage 1 tune. I now have the New Stage 1 tune which should give me about 485 total horses vs the old one which was around 465ish.
Will run new times later this week, to verify the better tune which should hopefully put me in the 4.2 range.

Too late bro. New tune already installed. Just in LA right now or I would post new numbers.

Hmmm....I guess I will try the option that my JB4 has to lower boost in 1st and 2nd gears then to see if I can get the car to hook up better. Let us know the new times so that I know what to shoot for!

Absolutely. Even if I still am at 4.3 I am happy. That is still amazing for our luxo car. Will leave lots of other jaws dropped as they look at my taillights pull away.

You might still be 4.3, but pull harder up top now too!

Did you factor in the gain due to RWS?
Sorry, just noticed you don't have it anymore

Hmm, that doesn't look as "stealth" as the first one. Couldn't BMS send you some black conduit to wrap those wires in? So, off the bat, how does that new tune feel (faster than stage1?)?

Excellent point Alex. I was just going to get some black wire loom for a more hidden look. I have not even gotten to take the car out yet with the new tune. I had to go to LA the next morning with family and won't be home until tomorrow. Results pending.

However tune is much easier to install now which is nice.

No. This is the new Stage 1 for n63tu engine.

Stage 2 for regular n63 still in testing.

Did my 0-60 runs with the new BMS tune for the n63tu engine that hooks up to the MAF sensors.

Best I could do this time was 4.4 sec. With the old stage 1 tune it was 4.3, so probably no real statistical change. Car still seems to pull as well and maybe even better up top, but that is purely subjective so I'm not hanging my hat on that.

Was your N63 tune working incorrectly on the N63tu engine? Recalled it being another $100 something dollars or so for the N63tu over the N63 tune.

No, it was working fine. BMS swapped it for free for the newer one.
