Depends on the promotions available. BMWFS gave me 0.9% for my CPO 135 and paid the first three payments.

Try your local credit union. The last loan I got was for 2.49%. The one before that was 1.99%.

Try bankrate.com

Just bought last week

I just bought a 2011 X5 35i last week. Bank of America has a rate of 2.39% for 60 months right now for qualified buyers. I applied and went in to the dealer with that in hand. They were able to get chase on the phone and beat it by 0.10% (2.29%). I was happy because I used Chase for my first automobile and I loved them.

The BMW financing is over 3% right now if you want a 60 month term, for lower terms they are running some specials but I believe the X5 is excluded from them.

I got a 1.5% five year loan from Penfed credit union a year and a half ago; their rates may be different now. You don't have to be a member of the military (penfed is for the armed services), but if you're not, then you have to donate $20 and sign a statement that says you support America or something to that effect. They are a bit eccentric; at first they said yes, then no, then yes, then it took a while to get the paperwork, but the 1.5% rate was worth all of that.
