O looked into this also and could never get an answer. Maybe we can add the 2 sensors and parking control module. Then code the 5DP option and see if it works. Anyone want to try first?

I have a 30D (diesel) and I have the Park Assist option just because I wanted some buttons to play with. It actually works very well though. The diesel / PA option might only be for o/s models though . I am in Australia (or for the Yanks, OSTRAAALIA)

USA option not available

I am in U.S. So it is weird that this option is not available for 35d on bmwusa.com. Hard to believe this is a mistake on the web site. Any U.S. buyer can confirm this?

No it's not a mistake, the 35d doesn't get that cool feature. Hope it can be coded even just for the parking sensor to see if a spot is big enough for it to fit.

Could it not just be an issue with the online Configurator. I know that there are issues with options on the Australian site so probably best to ask the dealer directly (unless you already have done so). If it really isn't an option in the US it is strange especially when it is offered on exactly the same engine specked model overseas.
