F10 / F11 (2011 - 2016)
The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan (F10) was produced from 2011 - 2016 with LCI updates arriving in 2014. In the US BMW offered a hatchback 5 Series Gran Truismo (F07) and the rest of the world also go a Station Wagon/Touring version F11.

I purchased it from BMW when I bought my 550xi M-sport last May. Initial quote was $1489, got it for $1300 for 3 years (3 year lease). Policy has a $50 deductible per incident. Last week the wife hit a pothole and blew a hole in the tire. Bill would have been $450 without coverage, cost me $50 (which includes the car being flat bedded to the dealer). Figure if I get 3 tires over the 3 years I break even.

Same... I had 900 dollars worth of tire damage on a 1200 dollar policy for my m3 in 4 months... SO I got it for my m5 given the wheel price and 20'' supersports and have yet to have a problem lol

It's a toss up really.
