Dealer re-flash

my dealer had to recently re flash my car to "cure" a recurrent thermostat temp error. Is it possible that the car runs better? Can't all be in my imagination. Perceived improvements :

1) steering seems more responsive in all modes
2) the differences from sport to comfort modes seem more substantial
3) acceleration characteristics appear more responsive
4) transmission shift points sportier in all modes.

Could all these differences be the result of the car now relearning based on my style of driving? As far as I know. This is the first re flash since I've owned it (may 2012)

Thanks all

there is a reset procedure for your tranny. it does learn how you drive and alters shift points accordingly, so if that is all cleared it will have to re-learn how you drive.

Not sure which module(s) were flashed but everything was reset ...key fobs, seat settings, profile, radio stations, navigation destinations., BC display settings....everything.
