Jose, you have ONE JOB!

If this thread lives on forever, it will bother me that there is such blatant grammatical errors in this thread title.

I cannot be held responsible for my grammatical actions during times of mourning, or "no hablo inglés".

I'm interested to know who had the last post.

Check the very first thread of the E36 forum. They pulled the OT thread down.

My sentiments exactly. Chad and Jared have probably been cooking this prank up since the thread's inception.

I went from around 1200 to below 500. I'm surprised I even had that many outside of OT. Oh well, at least I still have an avatar, and I get to relive those milestones again!

I wondered how long we'd last before making another OT thread. Not long.

To be fair, OT pulled the whole forum down, THEN they pulled OT down.

That's probably the end of an era for the monster thread, we finally figured out what the breaking point of the forum was. Maybe from here on out we could just do a new OT thread every month so it doesn't grow out of control?

Maybe Tim330i will drop in and update us once they finish troubleshooting.

EDIT: My post count dropped ~3,000, I spent way too much damn time in that thread...

That's what they do over at BF.c. I remember us discussing when OT was finally going to break the 'fest.

My guess is a disk space allocation issue. It was taking so much resource time to do the mirroring, etc. that we slowed Performance IX to a crawl. LOL.

Joey, I don't think we have to start a new one monthly but maybe every 50K posts or so.....

They're probably quantifying the lost ad revenue from the downtime and sending us a bill.
