Deep Sea Blue - Interior Color

I ordered a deep sea blue Z4 with beige leather for European Delivery this past Monday, but am now second guessing myself whether I should have ordered walnut leather instead.
Do any of you have either of these combinations and comments on how it looks/holds up? They both look nice in pictures, unfortunately I haven't been able to see one in real life. My beige leather has held up well in my 2001 330i, but a convertible may be more of an issue. Any input is appreciated.

I don't own one but I have seen this combination in person and I love it. Great choice IMO.

I have the same combination on my 2012 and have no regrets. I think it is the best choice even if you have to clean it occasionally. Not that I have had to yet.

I love my beige interior. My son has saddle brown (which is pretty close to the walnut) in his 335d which also looks nice. You can't go wrong with either IMO. It holds up just as well as the gray I had in a 530i a while back.

Frankly, I think the lighter beige works better with DSB, but I may be biased.

I did the same, i.e., a deep sea blue Z4 with beige leather and European Delivery. Initially I was thinking of white leather, but it won't be white for long time. The wood trim matches well with beige.

One problem I found with the beige and probably any light color leather is that it get blacken by seat belt rubbing the seat at shoulder area. When the car is moving at a speed with top-down, the seat belt vibrates by wind. If you touch the belt behind your shoulder, you will notice strong vibrations. The vibrating belt rubs the corner of the seat at the shoulder area. If the car sheats are black leather, probably it will not be visible. I wish BMW install a hard plastic protector at shoulder of the seat like SLK. The belt color matching with the seat color may help too.

I ordered mine in black, not to have any dirt or rub issues. Worked out well. And really no heat issues with the seats in the hot sun.

That might work in PA, but in Texas, a black interior is death if you ever have to park outdoors.

I have black leather too. the seats have some kind of reflecting heat technology and never get hot even after sitting in he sun with the top down

In PA it can get into the 100's in July and I have not had a problem with hot seats (and I only drive the Z with the top down)

DSB / Walnut Interior

Hi All,
I'm totally new to this site so this is first message. I have a DSB w/Walnut. I like it but my wife thinks the color is to orangish. On the other hand, she doesn't really like the car anyway. Take that for what it's worth. I just got it out of storage from the Wisconsin winter and it was just like getting a new car in the spring. I hope that feeling stays each year I have it.

Z4 BMW 35is with Ivory and loving it

Understand the concern on lighter color interiors. I have not had a problem with my ivory white. The coffee stains are easy to clean, and l get many complements on the color combination.

Mein Auto: Lots of 'em!
Ivory White, Beige or Walnut are all excellent choices. I would never do black with Deep Sea Blue, the white and tan interiors (including Walnut) make the Blue "pop" much, much more!!!!!!
