Good tires?

With summer coming up and moving to Arizona I need a good tire. South west Arizona doesn't get much weather outside of sun and heat and occasionally some rain so I don't think I need an all season tire. I want performance and quietness. The tires have now are loud. What suggestions does everyone have?

Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

I run them as my summer setup and they grip very well and are quiet.

They wear a bit faster than other tires though.

Truth. My E46 with PSS tires went from awesome to completely useless with a mere dusting of snow.
