Back in the family

So back in October, Bambi killed my '09 328xi after only 7 short months of ownership. I went rogue for a bit and got a Cadillac ATS but between an annoying touch screen, backup sensors that applied the e-brake to where my axles felt like they fell off over a fleck of road salt, terrible MPG, and other things....I thus decided to trade in for a 2011 BMW 335xi, Black with red interior, MT, M-sport package, Prem and Conv package, H/K sound, and iDrive. Although, rather ridiculously, no iPod adapter

And before I get "pics or it didn't happen"....yes, it happened

Very nice, I was wondering about your auto-of-choice for the upcoming C2C6 and you have effectively solved the mystery!

Wishing you many happy and deer-free miles!

It is with a joyous heart that I welcome you back to the BMW family ! I knew deep down, although you had briefly gone astray, that you would not be gone for long. May the spirit of your beloved 328xi live a long and healthy life vicariously through your new baby, and may all of your driving experiences be The Ultimate Driving Experience .

Cheers!

Often, in times of grief, we act rashly - pass no judgement on our BMW brother who in his greatest time of mourning for his 328xi sought comfort in a Cadillac ATS. He has now made a full recovery, and it is evident in his current vehicle choice .

Seriously.

Although, it's always interesting to read the impressions of someone who actually lives with a car for a while, compared to a review after a few quick drives. We should be grateful for those who suffer on our behalf.

(Incidentally, I live one county over and have not seen a single ATS around these parts since October. I think he was too ashamed, or too annoyed, to drive it much.)

Welcome back LS...looks great! Black over red+aluminum has always been one of my favorite colorways on BMWs.

Alright alright alright....yes I know. It's a fun driving machine but not the ultimate driving machine. Truthfully the price made it worth it to explore. The good part about that? It allowed me to trade it in for what I bought the car for back in the fall. Only $500 out of pocket to hold the car so I could schedule the PPI and so no one bought it from under me.

Might I point out that your level of shame is evident in your "Previous Rides" listings in your signature... no Cadillac ATS listed. Almost like it didn't happen. Is this some kind of cover-up? We shall call this... The Caddigate Scandal.

Well chosen words. I embrace Lost Sight's return. He has been punished enough.

Last Sight,

Congrats on the upgrade! Looks like you found a winner.
Looking forward to seeing the new ride at C2C6.

ps: just don't drive it on the New York Thruway after dark!

I think I'm going to make this my first mod:
What would be really cool is if you could deploy it where it would move out from the undercarriage into place i.e. James Bond style by just pushing a dash located button.

Calling Q?
