528 or 535 xDrive ==> Best Lease Price(s)

Hey all,

First post here. Basically, searching for a 528i xDrive with the below options, however in looking for prior lease prices, it seemed like at least while BMW was offering a 2k holiday incentive, it made more sense to get a 535 (due to residual, etc.). Can you guys provide some guidance on what you're paying and/or what I should expect for either a 528 xDrive or 535 xDrive. Thanks in advance!! Specs below.

Some basic advice:

1. Negotiate the purchase price of the car independently of the lease. Use Edmunds or another website to get the invoice price of the configuration you want, and negotiate up from there.

2. Do not accept mark up on the money factor or acquisition fee.

3. Put down maximum security deposits (MSD). Each deposit lowers the money factor and reduces the payment. IMO this is a no-brainer as you get an equivalent of about 13% APR on the security deposits.

I just did a 36/10k lease in IL (so you're on the hook for all the sales tax)...$70K MSRP. Monthly is $755.

$500 over invoice.

FYI, in March the residual on 535s bumped a point...it made a $25/month difference in my payment -- to my benefit.
