New CAS updated miles....

Soo I installed a new (used from same exact model) CAS module which when I tried starting the vwhicle without programming the module it updated my miles from 11000 to 22000.... How do I change if back to what it was... I removed that CAS and put the old one on but the miles remained the same... Please help if you have any suggestions

You can't swap cas modules from car to car. They are VIN specific and must be ordered from a dealership.

That's what they say about all modules but I thought you can do it with Inpa and BMW software you can program it and overwrite the VIN. That still doesn't answer my question... Even if I get the CAS from the dealer how to I get my miles back down from 20k to 10k

Some modules can be swapped. Not the cas or cluster. If you get one from a dealer, the miles will go back to what its supposed to be when its programmed properly.
