Unfortunately Tischer getbmwparts.com $33.70 CAD (61120434330) don't ship to Canada

What other alternatives at reasonable shipping cost are there?

Please let me know.

help! can't get homelink retrofit mirror to work

Hi I'm pulling my hair out - hoping someone can help. I have a 2013 E70 and was trying to get the homelink retrofit mirror to work using the E90 instructions and it doesn't work for me. Is there a retrofit installation manual for the E70?

The specific problem that i have is:

- at the overhead console, the instructions wants me to connect the brown/white wire to pin 16. However, pin 16 is already occupied by an existing wire, the color is black/red. Also, i'm supposed to connect the green/white wire to pin 20, but it's also already occupied by an existing black/grey wire.

I tried unplugging the existing wires in positions 16 and 20 and simply following the instructions but that didn't work either.

- on the rear view mirror side, the existing 10 pin connector only has 2 wires at positions 8 and 9. I looked at the existing rear view mirror and it only has 2 male pins also, looks like it's just power for the clown nose?

Thanks - any help would be appreciated. i know this is not the forum for the E70 but the retrofit guides are all for the 1 and 3 series - can't seem to find instructions for x5. Please, please help me!!! Thanks!

KH0 - did you have 3 wires that go to your existing rear mirror - those 3 existing wires were in pins 8, 9, and 10 right? For some reason I don't have the black/brown wire at pin 10. Only the other 2 wires at pins 8 and 9. So I'm stuck...
