Style 5 with no doubt! These rims fit car perfect.

While not the uber-best, but they are mine, ASA AR2 18". (Have smoked corner lights now). Also working on a set of Hartge Classic I's that should go on her. (They need some TLC). Ungrateful previous owner who did not know what she had. Her loss, my gain!

DS1, DS2, Contours, And the BBS rims that came on the M-Tech (were they Style 5 or something?).

But my most FAVORITE wheel of them all: The Bottle Cap wheels. I love them and I don't give two rat farts what people say about them.

Well the good thing is that if you don't already have them, they will cost you next to nothing to get your favorite wheels!

WHICH bottle caps? 6-1, 6-2 or 13?

Those are the wheels I need to get, they are just about the only 8.5" wide rims available for these cars. I was considering that smoked gun metal, but thought the regular silver might look better on a black car.

Yeah, and don't go black wheels on black car, I plastidip them and not happy, back to silver. I would use plastidip again but in white.

That's the 6-1. I got another set of 'em with a good set of Bridgestone 205/60/15s on 'em if you want 'em.

Mein Auto: rescued bmw's
i prefer cork to bottlecaps, but that, i think,, is another thread altogether....

i like my wheels round and balanced.

i like a bunch of different styles, depending on how the car is done, and which chassis. (i know, this states e36....)

i really couldn't make the call, though. i tend to like tapered spokes, though. along the lines of m-pars and tuning forks. style 5's are ok, but i think i'd be worried about someone trying to take them all the time.

so i'd stick with ugly wheels.

and not wash them.....
