Wet cabin AIR FILTERS after a car wash?

After a car wash, I realized that my cabin air filters were wet (wanted to clean the inside of them).

Has anyone experienced this and is it okay them to be little wet?

If your drains are slow to flow the water out , I suspect that they are getting , or they are clogged . Which will explain the cabin filter being wet .

If you remove the plastic fender well splash guard . Look under the cabin filter the u will see a drain exit . Pour water into the plastic piece at the bottom of the hood shock . On the ends of each filter the plastic piece has 5 holes that's where u pour water into . The water should exit immediately out the drain . If. It's slow if stopped up . Remove the rubber piece off the drain hose , then take out the cabin filters clean out the tray if you have stuff in there like leaves and dirt .

Get some weed wacker wire and stick it into up the drain hose from the fender well, and clean it out , then Blow it with a tire inflater Test it again , water will flow out that drain .

That should take care of the problem .
