I purchased the pixel repair board and just finished installing it on my 2007 335i
I not sure how to link the repair but there is one small detail that was not listed in the repair
the 2 ribbon cables that plug the face into the white connectors on the main board have small black tabs on either side of the connector and are very small, Well to release the ribbon cable you need to slide the black tabs about 1 mm away from the white connector, when you get the old ribbon cables out you will notice a white dashed line on the circuit board thats how far the tabs slide forward, that detail is left out on the repair. If you don't release the socket you will never get the new ribbon cables back in and secure,( not sure how the guy got his back in and they stayed in) I purchased my kit from best pixel repair in round lake Ill, only reason I am giving the guy a plug is because I could not figure out how to plug the ribbon cables in and I called the guy and he told me how to to do it, Great service in my mind and he could have said figure it out your self
every thing else in the repair is as described, but all the ribbon cables have a release on them
Radio back in and works and looks new
The edit has the pic and shows the small black tabs. Left and right side that you have to slide away from the connector so it releases the ribbon Looking at the photo you slide them toward you. I should have shown an after pic too
