Rear view camera

Hi all, as a converted MB driver, I'm new to this world and I need help. I have a convertible 2011 335is with PDC sensors and I'm trying to find a rear view camera that I can install (likely someone else to install) that is integrated with the idrive system. Any suggestions of where to find this? Dealer says is doesn't exist. Thanks in advance

Do they mean "does not exist" like this one doesn't?

Bimmer-tech is a great vendor but they are very expensive. You can get most of the parts for way cheaper. The only thing that's nice about their packages is that they do all the research for you.

I personally use this back-up camera. No dynamic lines but I don't need them anyway. This is the only camera kit I know of that you can feed the video cable through the OEM wiring boot. The video quality in daylight is great. Night picture is ok, a bit grainy but that's expected with any camera without IR support.

And an emulator for the CIC unit to automatically show the reverse cam (on the iDrive screen) when in reverse. I personsally, have no experince with these emultors. But I know people who have them and they work great. Look around at the different emulator options. I have mine connected to a 7" touchscreen that I use for my carpc. It's mounted right under my iDrive screen.
