My 2005 X5 has a heavy clunk as l slow to almost stop, it pushed the car forward and is quite violent, it feels like its the change to first gear that is the problem.
Has any one experienced this and is there a cure. My BMW dealer in NZ says the seals on the transmission need changing but that will cost $600 and no guarantees
it will fix the problem. Would love to hear from others with similar problem
