Ever have one of those moments where you just say "Damn I love my car"

Well I just did. I was cruising on the highway doing about 80 in sport mode. Out of the corner of my eye I see my white wale entering the expressway from my right. Sure enough, alpine White 2013 M5 in all it's beauty. So being the tuned out speed freak I am I say "well I've taken down M3's left and right, time for the big dog". We go at it. I blow by him and I was stunned. He had dealer plates on it but he was not letting off. Next thing you know I look down and we're doing 130 so I slow down. We go again, 3 honks from a 65mph roll. He got the jump but I was right there stride for stride. We get off at the same exit and he rolls his window down and says "WTF man?! Thats not a stock 335 is it?" I go "for your sake I sure as hell hope not". I told him about the cobb tune and pointed to the cobb stickers on the rear windows. He laughed and gave me some serious props. I'm not even so excited about beating or keeping up with a $110,000 M5...it's getting a thumbs up from an M5 driver hahahah. GOD I love this car.

Your next mod, if not already, should be a radar detector, if you don't mind me saying.

Radar detectors are worthless at 130mph, or even 90mph for that matter. Take a ride with a Trooper, I never put my radar back in my car.

I would recommend a laser interceptor laser jammer. It's saved me a few times already. I had a similar run in with a Cadillac CTS V the other day. The driver rolled his window down and said nice ride are you tuned? He then informed me his buddy had a tuned 335 also. I love my ride

I would recommend that you stop driving like an Ahole on public streets. Besides, I hate to break it to you, but your Cobb tuned 335i is no race car.

That's the best advice so far. Radar, "laser," photon, Corn Cobb tune or not, it ain't that fast. But I guess this is what you get on a BMW forum. Lol. If you don't know what I mean, then you've never owned a fast car & you may have been one of the BMW drivers with that look I love so much. Seriously though, it's fun to stretch your legs now & then. And yes, they same look I speak of is the one that you've gotten from M3 drivers as you crush them in a family sedan. I remember reading an article about this very same topic in 07/08.

and as a side note, Been many a time when the cops have arrested someone because of videos they have posted on forums or statements they made, you can be sure someone is reading these posts, they know what your car looks like and that you live in Weaton IL, won't be hard to do a search of the DMV files and find you!

Guys come on seriously, this isn't communist russia so let's all take a step back. Police don't show up at your doorstep because you made one comment on the internet. Thats absurd to even say, And yes I get it "don't be an a-hole and drive on public roads like that". I'd bet anything every person here saying that has done the same.
