No Power at Auxiliary Outlets

Neither one of my power outlets are working. I'm suspecting a blown fuse so I go to the manual to find out where is the darn fusebox. What a surprise. It is under the glove box behind a panel that must be removed and then you have to pull down the fusebox by twisting some sort of silver thingee. Now way I could figure out how to do it. So, now I'm taking it to the dealer to have them confirm that it is a blown fuse. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any thought on what might have caused this problem? I was charging my cellphone using the outlet in the center console. Nothing was plugged into the outlet under the dash. I checked the charger and it seems to work fine in my other cars.

Same problem with mine, noticed it after a few days of collecting it as an approved used car (shows their pre sales checks aren't up to much). It was the fuse which had blown. I replaced it myself as it would have been awkward to get to the dealers, but it is a bit of a pain to do. If you can get your dealer to do it for you I would go with that option. I even had to Google the fuses location as the fuse diagram in the fuse box gives no clues as to its location.

Good luck

It was the fuse and according to the dealer it blew due to a faulty phone charger. I have disposed of the charger in the hopes it will not happen again.

I tried to get to the fuse box myself with no luck. I was able to remove the panel at the bottom of the dash but for the life of me could not figure out how to access the fuses. There must be a secret word or something.
