Rear OEM Deck Speaker Q . . .

I have a question pls. I have searched this out but wasn't able to find a conclusive answer.

I own a 2011 328ix with the mid grade Hi-Fi sound set-up. I am going to add a sub in the trunk along with an additional amp. The additional amp can also output two full range speakers along with the sub. I am thinking of replacing the OEM rear deck speakers with an upgraded speaker set. I know the factory system is 2 ohm and the new amp added will drive the possible new rear deck speakers at 4 ohm.

My question is: Are the OEM rear deck speakers full range? I do NOT have the added tweeters with the rear deck speakers, just one driver on each side. I plan on tapping the signal from the rear deck speakers (gong into the added amp), but only if they are full range. I am aware of the harness I can purchase, and yes I do have the OEM amp in the trunk also.

Maybe I would be better off just adding a set of tweeters to the rear deck speakers?

Has anyone added a set of upgraded rear deck speakers along with a sub? It seems like it will work ok. I did this same job in another vehicle I owned previously but it was an all 4ohm system. Also if it would be just as beneficial I will just add a set of tweeters to the rear deck speakers.

Any thoughts?

Appreciate it!

Pretty sure they are full range. Only L7 has active crossovers.
