”new bmw na plant

Hot on the heals of their announcement of a one billion dollar expansion to their Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, BMW is already looking ahead to another North American factory. To keep up with and fend off rivals such as Mercedes-Benz, who took the Luxury vehicle sales crown for 2013, BMW needs more production capacity.

"BMW has been narrowing the list of locations, with at least two sites in Mexico still being considered, people familiar with the matter said. The Munich-based carmaker is weighing building its bestselling 3-Series at the new plant.” No decision has been reached yet, though one could be made in the next few months.

Producing the best selling 3 series closer to the final market makes sense, but how do you feel about your 3 series being made in Mexico?
