EGS Fault CF-17

Hey gang. I'm new in here. I wonder if anyone has any information on this CF17 fault in an 08 328I (E90-N51) GM transmission. The JBE is the common link between the EGS and the DME. It has a new JBE coded and the latest CIP on all control units. Reset all adaptations. Car runs fine, shifts fine, everything works. That fault just won't stay away. Clear it and it comes right back. No oil on the transmission harness plug. DSC plug is dry and clean. No burning on the fuse box. The battery wire recall has been done. I have an Auto Logic System for BMW. I thought I would reach out to you folks for any information, thoughts and insight.
Thank You,
Frank D.

I am getting the same fault code and it comes back after I clear the memory. Did you manage the solve the issue or find what was causing it?
