problem with brake light

Hello!

I have a 2007 328i BMW that I am having problems with. Yesterday the word "brake" in yellow appeared in the dash and will not go away. I have tried to see if it was the parking brake, but when I lift the parking brake up a separate word "brake" appears in red in the dash so it's not the parking brake. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for the help

Welcome to Bimmerfest. I've moved your question to the E90 3 series forum, the forum for your chassis BMW 3 series. It is likely you're brakes are worn out but it could also be that you're low on brake fluid.
