Can I alter the exhaust sound?

My other car (Aston Martin) has one little feature which I die for in my 2013 M6 CG.
The ability to manually (ok, via a small button) open a valve in the exhaust.
Have no clue on impact on performance, but the sound just gets 100% more brutal...
Any chance this is available on the M6 as well?

It can be controlled through a remote on your key chain or you can program it to one of the garage door buttons on the rear view mirror. I just ordered this for my gf's 2013 M6 convert. Also picked up the BMS tune for the M6 also, check it out.

You want to check the stock operation of muffler "flap" on your car. I know for a fact that mine opens after the engine warms up and stays open thereafter. My car is a 14 M6 GC with the competition package. I don't know if that particular function is the same for the non-competition package/standard exhaust.

Holy F...
What piece of gear is that?
Are you planning on racing the car anywhere?
I can't imagine how to control it while driving on normal highways
Already to date it is an everyday challenge for me to avoid speeding tickets

I think that's part of the comp pkg. The flap only opens under full throttle on non comp cars.
