Tire loses air rapidly, until a certain point then it stops?

Probably something stuck in the tire like a nail or screw. Leaks like these tend to stop when the pressure lowers. I just had the same thing with a tire on my Tahoe.

I agree with beden. 'Could also be a cracked rim. If it is a nail in the face of the tire, you can fix it yourself.

Just have a tire repair shop take a look at it. Chances are, you have a nail or something in your tire
