need help buying 335

I have been lurking on here for a while reading as much as I can about 3 series. I went to look at a 2010 335i xdrive (shouldn't that be a 335xi?) 6 speed. I have had 3 volvo turbos with sticks and currently drive a audi a4 b6 3.0 with a 6. The car is just off of its warranty, 30k on the clock. Its at a **** hole of a used car shop. I got there when he was closing so I didn't get to drive it. I did start it and kicked the tire, and check for oil leaks. I am no expert but I have done a lot of work on my own cars, never rebuilt a full engine but i'm pretty confident I could. I started it and let it warm up. the thing thats bugging me is when it was at idle I could feel engine wobble, especially when it was cold. is that normal? I know my v6 I can feel at idle and this was about the same. I know six bangers aren't the most balanced, but I thought straight sixers were better. could this be a sign of the HPFP I have been reading about? I asked to take it to a dealer and he said no problem, should I pay for an inspection by BMW dealer? any help you guys can provide I would appreciate. thanks in advance.
