Mein Auto:
E46 M3 vs. Acura TL-Type S

Would you agree that the M3 is faster than the TL-S

Well, stock it is rated about 50hp less and has similar TQ numbers. So I would say if the drivers are equal a definite no.

Have you ever heard of HP/weight ratio? The TL is a full second slower.

I have heard of HP/weight ratios. But, if you put pro in the Acura and an amateur in the M then then Acura would be "faster". Around a track of course, but you 335 guys aren't really worried about the track.

Not just that. I personally witnessed not even a full month ago a Miata catching up and passing 991 Carrera 4S. It all depends WHERE and WHO is driving A lot more than WHAT car ...

I just noticed the comment about 335 guys not being worried about the track. That's damned funny, because it's mostly true!
Our 335's still handle very well, but are no match for any car with a track biased set-up and a good driver.

I was just messing with you buddy. Don't tell anybody but I do not track my M3
How do you like the M-sport? I thinking about picking one up or possibly a 335is.

It turns pretty good, much better than the non-Msport E90 I had previously. I really like the look wiith the staggered setup. Ride is a tad rough, but you should be used to that!
The Michelin PSS softened things up a bit, and stick like glue unless you get over-zealous with the throttle in a turn.
If you can find an is you get the best of everything: sport suspension, N54, and DCT! The auto cars are a bit faster than manuals simply because they maintain boost during shifts.
I seriously considerd an M3 when I picked this one up, but with JB4 installed, it suits my needs in real-world daily driving!

MT is pretty satisfying, but I don't worry about 'money shifts' with the ZF!

Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely used to the rough ride as you feel every imperfection on the road with the M. I still may grab one eventually.
