Question Still jerky shifting from 1st to 2nd?

Hey guys I recently posted a similair thread in which I asked for pointers on exactly how I could begin to smooth out this difficult upshift, but some of the language was a little over my head considering I am relatively new at driving a MT. My concern is that I am possibly letting the clutch out too fast, or not shifting at the right RPM. (I normally upshift 1-2 at around 3000.) I asked my father and he said that it could be that I am letting it out too slowly, or that I am being to uneven as I release the clutch. What do you guys think? I would appreciate any feedback immensely so I may begin to get an idea of how to truly master this beast. (All other shifts are fairly smooth.)

match rpm better. practice more. put the clutch pedal all the way down until shift is completed.

I think: You should get back in the saddle and learn to do it smoothly.

Keep a gentle hand on the lever, it takes a certain rhythm, but I would and generally use a higher shift point with BMWs.

Yup, after warm up 4k works nicely sliding into 2nd, plus it sounds good too.
