Luxv4 -Led cover mod

I removed the round cover for the halo bulb and modified it to leave the control pad out of the lamp module, i used 1/4 drill for the center hole,,,but that was a little small.
i just used a hand saw to split the cover.... the cover will flex enough to allow the 3 wires to settle in the hole. I used auto body putty to cover the crack. I DID NOT CUT THE SEAL.
this should allow all to run cooler and allow changing color if wanted.

I would cover that with heat shrink.

It's mounted in the housing for a reason. Those dip switches are not weather proof...

i already thought of the cover just didnt take a photo -- but it never rains under my hood and under body cover seems to keep liquid down, ie that area has never been wet.
the idea is to reduce heat in the lamp module.
each to his own.
