Cars missing. I'll be driving and the toms will drop from 5-10,000 and the car will hickup. And if I turn it off after that it's hard to start , taking fifteen minutes to gather itself and start. But the hickup is the real problem.

Did it start after you drove through the smog? If so than maybe you have a clog in the intake. What about the temperature. Does it overheat when the rpm drops? Also how many miles do you have on it?
