Engine Malfunction; Reduced power

Received the message above. Took to dealer and they are saving stuck valve and calling for cylinder head replacement at $19k. Picture showed intake valve open on cylinder 4.

Had someone look at car and feeling is that cannot be stuck or bent valve as car is driving fine except for reduced power only have misfiring.

Second opinion suggested spark plug, fuel injector or coil....

Thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey did you get you problem resolved? Same issue happened to mine. I drive centre told me engine malfunction and that it shut down cylinder 5 and reduced speed. I was afraid to take it to the BMW dealer so I found a smaller shop that works on German cars at a fraction of the cost. They told me it was a faulty ignition coil and that my plugs looked foul. The ignition coil was $140 and all ten plugs were $120. They only charged me an hour to do all the work. All and all about $380 after taxes to get my car rolling like new again. You don't necessarily need to take it to the big house to get everything looked at.
