335xi Water Pump - DIY replacement

Does anybody have a link to a DIY for replacing the water pump on an 08 335xi? Or anybody actually done it themselves? Everything I've found is for the non-xDrive model.

I'm at 87,XXX miles so I think it's time to do it before it goes out on me.

Saw that, but it specifically says not for xi/xDrive models in the first couple seconds of the video. Still useful, I'm sure most of it is similar, but I'd like to find information specific to my car.

The front subframe/diff/axles kind of get in the way.

If you don't drop the subframe, you need a ton of swivel joints and extensions of various lengths.

It's doable without dropping it but you will have MUCH more clearance. I did my pump without dropping the subframe but second time around, I will drop it.

The hardest part was getting leverage to pry the hoses off. Accessing the top pump bolt was also a pain.

Thanks, fdriller. So other than clearance issues because of the extra drivetrain components, is the pump still mounted in pretty much the same place as the non-xDrive model?
