TPM Inactive

Hello all!

I had to replace my angel eyes parking light. I ordered a set on Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

All went well with the driver's side install. I had to pull the wheel off and the fender liner. There was a cable attached to a sensor on the liner that I did not expect but removed the clip easily enough. I then demoed initially the wrong box with the T15 torx screws. Found the right cover for the parking light bulb and replaced it. placed everything back together well or so i thought. The light worked well and was much whiter / brighter than the OEM which is dull and yellow.

However, once all was put together I received a TPMS Inactive error. I get the error if the lights are on or off. I need to pull everything off again but any ideas on where to look? what sensors are behind the fender cover that are related to TPMS? Thank you!_a_

Hi there. there are rdc transmitters on the inner panel of each fenderliner. It looks like a square box and says "rdc transmitter" on it. I would double check that you reconnected the transmitter to the connector because that can throw the tpms inactive error.

Yup that was it. I had to really press the plug in. Lights are great. Much brighter than oem. Thank you.
