Exclamation dash light appears

SO here I go enjoying the nice sunshine before the snow arrives, when all the sudden I look down, SERVICE ENGINE SOON light is on. I thought, wtf, car runs smooth. Then I remembered when I pumped gas I didn't hear the "click" on the cap. I pulled over and twisted it off, then back on "click". It took about 20 mintues, then finally no more light. I am assuming the light had to do with the cap?????? I sure hope so, cuz I almost fainted

You're right, that's the most common reason for the SES light. A fault code might've been logged on your computer, but that's no biggie...

Yep, loose gas cap will set it off for sure.

I'm ok with sleeping alone if it means I don't have to cram that junk in my mouth anymore.

Alex posted the wrong answer, and deleted it instead of shaming himself.

Geo are you talking to me? About my wiper noise????? It's something that I can't figure out. I wanted to remove the arm but can't get it off. It's amazing nothing is simple on this car. I replaced the rubber insert of wiper, still heard sound. In the process I broke the passenger side clip in rage..haha. So I bought a whole new wiper blade, maybe that will solve it. I know it disappears when cloth is under far right side, or its lifted totally off glass....WEIRD! annoying too

Hey CC, does the end section (this is your passenger side wiper, right?) closes to the outside of the car touch the windshield or is it above the glass due to the curvature of the window? I was looking at mine yesterday and notice that it is very loosely touching the window glass. Could this be vibrating against the window?

It sticks above the glass on the very end yes. So your wiper does the same?? In the curve its lifted alittle. I will put the new one on tomorrow and see what happens... This is a stupid thing to have to worry with, but the sound is like someone is lightly tapping on the glass wanting in...hehe

Yup! Man, thats got to be frustrating! Maybe get one of those wiper airfoils to help it stay pressed down against the glass....

Yea, it's the same but I don't have any "tapping" noise from it. Change out the blade and see... my suspicion is that it will go away... hopefully

Works like the rear wing you see on the back of cars...but of course much smaller ....mounts ontop of the wiper blade, slightly forward of it. the wing helps to prevent the blade from lifting off the glass at high speed...

damn tried to find pic online...no go...

Yes, thats it. You should be able to get the same for the other side. Either the dealership should have them or Bosch makes a decent blade with spoiler.
