Bavauto.com sells a kit and has a video on the DIY. Doesn't look too bad.

If you look around (at least here) you can find it for $130 or so. I would go to the dealer. If you have what you need and a place to work, diys maight be better for you.

I've found doing it yourself, never gets the pedal as firm as when the dealer does it. Even if you use a power bleeder, it's not as firm.

However, if you have BMW diagnostic tools, such as INPA or ISTA, you can activate the DSC hydro unit and bleed the brakes by activating the module. It will pulse the DSC hydro unit and help bleed the system.

I did this for my last brake fluid flush and the pedal is nice and firm.

I've done it myself several times. Pretty easy to do, but you have to be comfortable monkeying around with your car, taking the wheels off, etc... If you don't enjoy it, or lack the confidence, it's much better to let the dealer do it. Be advised, brake fluid is nasty, nasty stuff. You don't want it to drip anywhere on anything.
