Brake Fluid Reset Date

My current reading on the fluid is 7/2014 and in holding down BC it will not take
me to the reset stage.
Is this because we are still in July and I can only do it effect Aug/14?

Also, I changed my oil with the odometer at 33,000km and it jumped to 2016 at
17,000km. Does this make sense and why could I not insert a due date manual
to July/2015?

Thx for the advise

Resetting the brake fluid interval is a bit of a chicken dance; it's not as straight forward as holding down the BC button. Google it.
The oil service interval makes sense. I always thought it was a one year interval but BMW must have changed it to two years at some point. My local dealer made me aware of this.
