Update from ccc To cic

Hi to everyone, I just think about upgrading my system from ccc to cic. My car is a E91 330xd 12/2006 full optional. The car have already the aux jack in to the trunk and the mulf on the back. Now in theory I'm just going to buy a cic module plus hd monitor, new idrive controller and the mulf2. Exept the usb cable in the glove box how many part I need to mount everything? And if I want to install also the usb in the trunk?
To coding everything which type of cable and software do I need?
Tanks in advance

You need to go to the coding boards

You need to go to the coding boards

bmwcoders.com

and maybe

http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27

you could get away with K-can cable on the 06's for simple coding but
there may be other issues with coding very new software into and older car.
NCSexpert is generally whats used but you have to have the newer versions
and daten files for the newere cars. Might be possibe with ISTA/P not sure on that.
The newer software might require and ICOM interface and those are not cheap.
Maybe you should talk to BimmerTech.

Thank you for the answer
Now I go and check. I already have NCSexpert but don't look like a friendly user software.... at least not for a novice like me..
ISTA/P work only on a virtual machine?
