Adaptive Head Light failed

Well, I had this happen to me back in Feb went away after two days (I guess it was water). but it's happening again for two weeks, but the other day I noticed that the passenger side light is leveling when I start the car the and the only one not moving is the driver side. I though that both lights stop. does that mean that the one dead control unit is the driver side?

Do you have the adaptive lighting error permanently in your cluster?

If so one of the modules have failed. Scanning the FRM will tell you which side. But if you're noticing the driver's side is not moving, it most likely that side.

Self leveling and adaptive are 2 independent systems.

Self check on start up (up and down movement) is to check the operation of the self leveling feature.

Adaptive is controlled by input from the SAS, steering angel sensor and does not show a visual self test.

Well the warning comes up when I start the car and goes away then I get a green flashing light at the lights control (A). so the two systems are separate the leveling and the adaptive headlights?
