E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

BMW Trip Computer

The September 2013 issue of C&D page 26 had a write up about the trip computer in a 335i.

In the article they determined it was optimistic by nearly 7%. Can one infer from this specific case this is true for all BMW trip computers?

Well my trip computer says I'm getting 22 MPG, but keeping track of miles and fuel used, I figure the real MPG is much closer to 20 MPG! Of course, there are many factors that will contribute to inaccuracies - read the article to find out why.
