e90 325i Alternator and power steering pump issue ?
Could you have a look at this video I made and let me know what you think. I don't know if this is normal or not. My alternator pulley definitely has a wobble in it, but I don't know when I spring it manually it makes a bit of a clunking sound if this is normal. I don't hear any rattles when the engine is running though. Also the power steering pump makes a loud rattling sound when moving it back and forward quickly. The pulley itself looks fine, sounds like something internal has broken.
Alternator: You need to turn your sound up to hear it when it spins:
For the alternator, do I need a new alternator or will a new pulley/bearing suffice, the alternator still charges fine and the power steering pump is still working.
