E93 M3 windows

According to the manual, I should be able to open all windows using the remote by holding down the door open button, however it does not work. I read elsewhere that I should first unlock the car, then hold down the door open button - that didn't work either. Any suggestions? If it only works with comfort access, then that's the reason - I don't have it. It's really hot here in FL, and I could really use it.

Not M3 related and I only have an E92...but on my last Z4, only comfort access equipped can open the roof and windows using the fob...I think they are the same

just my 2 cents...

Chk parcel shelf

If the rear parcel shelf is UP and not locked down, pretty sure this feature doesn't work. I've tried to open windows and / or top w/ key a few times, and after it doesn't work, realize that the parcel shelf is UP. Give that a try.

I'm confused. The rear parcel shelf is down when the top is up. There doesn't seem to be a way to put it in an UP position. ???

I'm pretty sure it only works with comfort access. But there are vendors who sell a remote module kit that will give you this functionality.

Thanks! Programming with a remote module kit is beyond my meager skills, so I'll see if there's a local shop that can do it. At last resort, I'll check with the dealer, or simply do what I have been doing for the last several years.

Just like what I said, do you have comfort access option? I don't think it will work for the non comfort access bimmer convertible...

Just pull up on the parcel shelf. It moves up and down. Clicks into place.

But yes - if you have comfort access, your windows and top move w/ the key buttons. If not, I think it does not move with the key.

Mine not only opened the windows, it also dropped the top. And holding the lock button closed the top, then rolled the windows up. I did have Comfort Access.
