"OK" means you are good. Don't add oil unless it says to add.

Yes but the picture is not my car. I was unable to take a picture. The line in the picture is at max. Mine is a little before max

You're still OK. The scale represents a single quart. It will tell you when you need to add a quart.

But if it makes you feel better add a few ounces then wait to check the level indicator again ten minutes later and repeat until it shows full.

LOVE your car, pretty much the same as mine except mine is just a regular Barrique Red 2006 325i manual.

Ill hold off for now I just wanted to make sure. And thank you! I really like that color. I don't see it on many other BMW's either which I take as a plus.

One notch equals 1/4 of a quart low. You can drive until your next oil change and it will not hurt your car.

You can't. Maybe in the hidden menu but there's no factory option for an oil temp gauge

es. It's the gauge check through the cruise control stock. It definitely reads a little different than from the idrive check display and can throw folks off although it's telling you the same thing.

Mein Auto:
Actually i face with this problem, that the customer say the oil level is in the middle so they add 1little and the gauge still showing the same, so he decided to add another one more little, still the same. When i run through with icom, i saw a service function call adaptation value, it stated it will clear all the value of the sensor, so i give it a try and it work, the gauge work normal again.
