Mein Auto: bmw 328xi
328xi transmission problems

Hi guys i would like to get some info from you guys.I have a 2007 328xi with a 100,000 kms the car left me stranded last week had to get the car towed to a friends garage.I was stopped at a light car started to idle rough lifting of the brake to move forward heard a grinding noise stopped to car.The next day my buddy calls with the bad news the transmission output shaft splines were worn and the same where it goes in the transfer case has anyone ever heard of this happening i called the 1 800# they never heard of such a problem spoke to a couple of cert.tech at the dealer never heard of such of problem.Anyone here heard of this happening.Click image for larger version
