750 valve seal job...Again?!!?? Should I give up my love???

My 2006 750li with 115000 was smoking trew the exhaust which was caused by the valve seals. My non bmw dealer decided to give me a different engine with 73000 miles on it for free. My question is once you get the valve seals go bad and get replaced are they good for another 100000 miles or should I get rid of my car before it reaches that 100000 mark again? I need help I love my car but I've only driven it for about 4 weeks in all and owned it for about 3 months THANKS GUYS!!!!!!

That's what I read, what kind of dealer would give a customer a used motor with 73,000 miles on it?

I don't understand the OPs comment about doing the valve stem seals again... I doubt that used motor had the valve stem seals done.

Valve Stem Seals if done could last another 100,000 miles with frequent oil changes, not the 15,000 mile BS BMW recommends.

But to be very clear I bought the car from a non bmw dealership that sold me the car with 115000 miles and smoking blue smoke it has been more then 30 days but the agreed to fix the smoking, they couldn't fix it so they are offering to change out the engine for me to one with lower miles instead, my question was if I end up having to pay out of pocket in the future to change the valve seals how long will the new seals last about?

The warranty I have is an aftermarket one which is pretty basic but I fixed my post so it makes a lot more sense

New valve stem seals have been updated - so they should last a lot longer then the originals. The problem is that a N62 with 75,000 miles is about the time they start smoking - the good news is the AGA tool makes the job tolerable.

The dealer is taking full responsibility for the engine for a year after it is installed so if my seals go before that year they have to fix it so I believe I'm safe

" after it is installed " - You mean they haven't installed it yet???? The time to do a number of common N62 repairs is while it's on the stand.

I think the "non-BMW" dealer as no experience fixing the problem and hoping that slapping another used engine may make u go away.
Ask them to give a written 1 yr warranty on the new engine. Also u might have to get something in writing to say that the engine was replaced by the dealer in case u need to sell the car down the road and the VIN #'s don't match etc. My 2 cents.

What is the name of the "dealer" or is it just some craiglist asshole with a dealer license?
