7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

Powder coated my stockers

car came with chrome wheels and i'm not a fan (plus one of them was the wrong style, old owner had never realized when he replaced it when he bent a rim).

I ended up ordering a new set on ebay and got them powdercoated (no one wanted to strip the old chrome ones).

It's a anthracite with metallic flake and clear coated

The only thing driving me nuts about the stock caps is the light grey ring plastic ring on the edge. Actually sitting in the yard letting the plastic dip dry on it now. Painting that little sliver black.

I don't think so, why?

That looks great! I've been debating on powder coating my stock wheels since I do not want aftermarket wheels. I think im going to do it.

Yea, I didn't want to go through the hassle of bigger wheels. Car has good tires on it I basically paid nothing for the car and don't anticipate haven't it for long. So this was a simple solution. Except now I think I really want to lower it. Never owned a car I hadn't atleast put springs on.
