Question Fuel Genie

I am getting some pretty horrendous gas mileage. The tank only appears to hold 17.50 to 17.75 gal. I have 1 gal in the trunk tied down and have ran it out to see what the tank capacity is, several times. I understood that it was supposed to be 21.5 or 20.5, is it not? The accuracy of my red fuel warning light is obtuse to say the best.

What is up with the Fuel Genie? If I rub the Fuel Genie's lamp, will it grant me a gas mileage wish? Does it grant other wishes as well? How many wishes do I get? Isn't it supposed to be 3 or something?

The light is wonky, i had the same issue and ran out, got almost 18 in it. There is the space from the fuel assembly, and air at the top since the filler is a bit below the top.

You can set your reserve amount via the OBC, i have set mine higher.

I got 19.44 gallons in it.

What could be causing my mileage to be so bad?

Got 19 in it last night, 20 miles from home 89@ 2.39$, at home 89@2.89$, can't stand the differences in prices.

$4.209 is premium 92 with a costco discount.

Typically I pay $4.35 but have paid over $4.50.

I swear there is some air flow sensor or massive dampening orb that needs replacement.

I've ran out of gas on level ground after sitting parked and it runs for only a minute, then only fit 17 gallons in. The bottom of the fuel tank must be very uneven or something, or the fuel pump placed somewhere odd.

The tank is an odd shape overall.
