Coolant Temperature Sensor

Noticed I'm leaking coolant from the coolant temperature sensor (Pic attached) and I bought a new o-ring. As I went to pull out the sensor, it will not budge for anything. I've tried using a towel for grip and this little **** won't come out. Any recommendations on how to get this thing out? I've squeezed the two prongs while pulling and nothing.

Not sure if its been stuck in there due to crust etc.. Any help would be appreciated.
